Aunt Adele was a relative to Jean-Luc Picard, known for her home remedies.
Her cure for the common cold was ginger tea with honey at 80 °C. Picard replicated Adele's "medicine" for Admiral Kennelly, who was suffering from a Cardassian virus. (TNG: "Ensign Ro")
For people having problems to sleep, she had a recipe for a warm milk toddy. One of the ingredients was nutmeg. (TNG: "Schisms", "Cause and Effect")
It was not stated whether Adele was a maternal or paternal relative of Picard. In the original script she was called 'Rebecca'. She was named after Star Trek assistant director Adele Simmons. (Star Trek Encyclopedia)
