The Age of Bastu was an era of time as marked by the Tkon Empire that occurred over 600,000 years ago.
It was during the Age of Bastu that the portal on a planet in the Delphi Ardu system was last activated. Following that, it remained dormant until 2364 when it was encountered by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D and the crew of a Ferengi starship. (TNG: "The Last Outpost")
