Lieutenant Alan M. Kobayashi was a Starfleet officer during the Dominion War.
In 2374, files from starships Akagi, Tripoli and Victory all reported Lieutenant Kobayshi missing in action. Files from Sarajevo and Zapata reported him killed. (DS9:"In the Pale Moonlight").
- Kobayashi's name appeared on the casualty list display seen on a computer readout in that episode. It is unclear which of the above was his home station, if any. He was apparently named for production artist Alan Kobayashi.
