Globe Illustrated Shakespeare, Remembrance

Picard's copy of The Globe Illustrated Shakespeare: The Complete Works showing two pages from All's Well That Ends Well.

All's Well That Ends Well was a play written by William Shakespeare.

In The Globe Illustrated Shakespeare: The Complete Works, there were several illustrations for this play. In 2364, Q was thumbing through the pages for this play and these illustrations were briefly visible. (TNG: "Hide And Q")

The identification of these illustrations was made by Jörg Hillebrand and Bernd Schneider for Ex Astris Scientia. [1]

Jean-Luc Picard quoted a line from All's Well That Ends Well ("no legacy is so rich as honesty", spoken by the character Mariana in Act III, scene 5), and asked his dog Number One who had said that. His edition of the Globe Illustrated Shakespeare was kept in the Starfleet archives, opened to the first two pages of the third act of the play. (PIC: "Remembrance")
