Meryl was born in Willingboro, New Jersey and stepped over into the stunt business after working for years as a model and make-up artist.
Meryl was two times nominated for a Taurus World Stunt Award for her work in the film Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2004 for best fight and best overall stunt by a stuntwoman).
Among her stunt resume are films such as First Kid (1996, with Michael Krawic, Bill Cobbs, Reiner Schöne, and stunts by Tony Brubaker, Rusty McClennon, and Kim Washington), Shaft (2000, with Vanessa Williams), Save the Last Dance (2001), The Time Machine (2002), Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002, with Clint Howard, Kelly Cooper, and stunts by Charlie Brewer, Alex Chansky, Andy Gill, Gail Monian, and Kim Koscki), Jeepers Creepers II (2003), Collateral (2004), Cursed (2005), Elizabethtown (2005), Southland Tales (2006), Miami Vice (2006), and Pirates of the Caribbean III (2007, with Tom Morga).
