Actress Angelique Pettyjohn is noted for work in a number of "B-movies" and TV shows. On Star Trek, she is known as Shahna, an alien whom James Kirk seduces. She appeared in TOS:"The Gamesters of Triskelion".
She was considered at one time for the role of Nova in Planet of the Apes.
Angelique was a natural for erotic photography, she even appeared in three hardcore adult films, from 1982 to 1986. Pictures of her, topless, wearing the Shahna costume and drill thrall harness and collar are said to exist.
She died in Las Vegas of cancer in February, 1992, at the age of 48.
