Template:Mergewith An antimatter tank is a special magnetized pod designed to store antimatter so that it does not come in contact with the sides of the container.
This would prevent the oppositely charged particles from colliding, which would result in the mutual destruction of the matter and antimatter, along with a violent and explosive release of energy. By magnetizing the container, the antimatter is suspended within the vaccum inside the pod.
