Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings, structures, and environments. An individual who designs and creates architecture is known as an architect.

On planets with humanoid inhabitants, architecture can develop along similar patterns, due to Hodgkin's Law of Parallel Planetary Development. (TOS: "Bread and Circuses", et. al.)

Charles Tucker III's mother wanted her son to study architecture, but he chose a career as a starship engineer instead. (ENT: "Similitude")

In 2152, Malcolm Reed marveled at the architecture on a per-warp planet. Hoshi Sato agreed, noting she could have spent all day in One of their temples. (ENT: "The Communicator")

In 2266, upon arriving at Miri's homeworld, Dr. Leonard McCoy looked at the buildings and noted that it was "the most horrible conglomeration of antique architecture I've ever seen." (TOS: "Miri")

In 2268, Spock noted a similarity in the Ekosian architecture to Earth architecture after arriving on Ekos, assuming that since the Ekosians were Humanoid, it would stand to reason there would be similarities. (TOS: "Patterns of Force")

In 2368, Data confirmed that he and Jean-Luc Picard were standing at the same street on Romulus that Spock and Senator Pardek were at, as he was able to verify the architectural features by adjusting for optical distortions in an image that was taken of the two. (TNG: "Unification I")

A typical style in Cardassian architecture was to build offices of people with important positions such as Prefects elevated so all others below would have to look up to them with respect. (DS9: "Emissary")

In 2370, Minister Jaro Essa told Kira Nerys that his reason for betraying the Bajoran Provisional Government was that Bajorans were once people who brought art and architecture to many different worlds and that was part of his motivation to make sure Bajor would not be a victim and powerless to a different species again. (DS9: "The Circle")

In 2372, Onaya stated to Jake Sisko that she loved Cardassian architecture, mainly because of the way things flowed together. (DS9: "The Muse")
