Argon is a chemical element, a noble gas with relative atomic mass of 39.948.

Argon is present to a small extent in many atmospheres and is obtained as a byproduct from the liquefaction and separation of air.

Larger quantaties of argon are found in atmospheres of L class planets such as Indiri VIII
