An Assimilation Chamber is special area on Borg vessels where assimilations are performed. This chamber is used in addition to the method of injecting nanoprobes, to install complicated prostectics such as replacing limbs. Special assimilations are also performed in these chambers such as Locutus of Borg. Typically a number of victoms will be transported to the assimilation chamber, and be forced to wait while they are assimilated one by one. The chamber is surrounded by force fields to prevent escape.
