Template:Sidebar character Azetbur (tlhIngan Hol: 'atlhetbur) was the daughter of Gorkon, the former chancellor of the Klingon High Council. She is the only known female Klingon chancellor; by 2367, a law had been passed prohibiting women from sitting on the High Council. (TNG: "Redemption")

After her father was assassinated by members of the Khitomer Conspiracy in 2293, she assumed the office. Azetbur continued her father's work by attending the Khitomer Conference in 2293 and signing the Khitomer Accords for the Klingon Empire, which paved the way to nearly one hundred years of peace between the Empire and the Federation.
