This Terran raider was used by the Terran Rebellion in 2372. It participated in the Battle of Terok Nor
When all the other raiders were destroyed whilst the Rebellion was taking Terok Nor. Julian Bashir and Jadzia Dax took this vessel in order to distract the alliance fleet under Regent Worf by generating warp shadows in order to fool the alliance's sensors to see multiple vessels instaed of just one.
Afterwards Bashir took the raider back to Terok Nor in order to aid the newly compleed ISS Defiant against the Regent's flagship. Together the Raider and the Defiant caused crippleing damage to the Regent's Flagship prompting the Regent to choose to retreat giving the rebels victory.
