Template:Realworld Template:2008spoiler Rebecca "Becky" Brake is a location manager on 2009's Star Trek. She previously worked with the film's director, J.J. Abrams, on his series Alias and on Paramount Pictures' 2006 film Mission: Impossible III. Brake and several other location scouts and managers won the 2006 California on Location Award as Production Company/Location Team of the Year for their work on M:i:III.
Brake began as an assistant location manager on the 1995 films Strange Days and Get Shorty. She went on to work with the latter film's director, Barry Sonnenfeld, as an assistant location manager on the hit science fiction action film Men in Black. Brake's other credits as assistant location manager include the 1997 comedy film Nothing to Lose (featuring Michael McKean) and the political drama Primary Colors (featuring Robert Easton and Brian Markinson).
As a head location manager, Brake has worked for such film productions as American Pie 2 (2001), Collateral Damage (2002), Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003, featuring Michelle Krusiec and Rachel Nichols), The Fighting Temptations (2003), and The Eye (2008). She was also supervising location manager on the hit 2007 comedy Wild Hogs.
