Beta VI Colony was the name of an Earth colony.
Prior to stardate 2124, this colony was established on the sixth planet in the Beta planetary system. This remote colony was located over nine hundred light years from Earth, on the far side of a star desert.
In 2267, the USS Enterprise was scheduled to deliver supplies to the colony when it was intercepted by Trelane's planet Gothos. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")
Beta VI was only seen in the remastered version of "The Squire of Gothos". The planet was a reuse of Sigma Iotia II as seen in the remastered "A Piece of the Action".
According to Star Trek Maps (pg. 24) the colony was established in 2195, with a population consisting primarily of Humans and Andorians. According to the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), in 2378, Beta VI was a Federation member.
