Beth Woods is a writer who worked with Steve Gerber on the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "Contagion". Lieutenant Commander Beth Woods, a name seen on an okudagram in the episode, was named after her. Together with Gerber she was interviewed by Bill Florence in 1994 for the article "Steve Gerber & Beth Woods: Creators of 'Contagion'" in The Official Star Trek: The Next Generation Magazine issue 28. Woods also contributed an original storyline to the third season episode "Sins of The Father".
