"Beyond Antares" was a 23rd century love song.
Lieutenant Uhura was fond of the song, and sang it on a couple of occasions while serving on the USS Enterprise. When she performed the song in the rec room, in 2266, she accompanied herself on the Vulcan lute. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King", "The Changeling")
