Crewman Biggs was a Starfleet engineer assigned to the Columbia NX-02 in 2154.
In that year, Commander Charles Tucker, who had transferred from the Enterprise NX-01, ordered Crewmen Biggs and Pierce to recalibrate the ship's field stabilizers as part of the effort to align the dilithium matrix to within 0.3 microns. (ENT: "Affliction")
