Blue Horizon was a Federation planet terraformed by famed terraformer Professor Gideon Seyetik. His crowning achievement on the planet was the Da Vinci Falls.
Commander Benjamin Sisko and his son Jake visited Blue Horizon on their way to Deep Space 9 in 2369. They spent a few hours on the surface, but didn't get the chance to see the Da Vinci Falls. (DS9: "Second Sight")
This planet was only mentioned in dialogue.
According to Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"), in 2378, Blue Horizon was listed as a Federation member.
