A blue match was a one of the two types of Tsunkatse matches.

It was characterized by blue pit lights and blue polaron disruptors on the fighters' gloves and footwear. In a blue match, a fighter won by knocking out his or her opponent or otherwise causing so much pain to the opponent that they would be unwilling to continue.
