Bob Kirsh was born on 26th September 1962. He played a Cardassian glinn in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season six finale "Tears of the Prophets".

Kirsh had an uncredited role as a student in the 1983 film Eddie and the Cruisers. He wrote and starred in the 1999 movie Peep Show.

In 2000, he starred with Ethan Dampf and Duke Moosekian in Hanging Up. A year later, he starred with Dina Meyer and Barry Lynch in the television movie Time Lapse.

Kirsh was also a writer of the reality television series Date Patrol and Ultimate Holidaytown USA, that looked at Christmas celebrations in small town America.

Kirsh has also made guest starring appearances in other popular series such as Law & Order. He starred with Leon Russom in the 1993 episode "Benevolence". In The Practice episode "The Civil Right", he starred with TNG guest star Charles Cooper.

In the same year as his DS9 appearance he starred with future DS9 guest star Cynthia Graham and TNG guest star Michelle Phillips in the Beverly Hills, 90210 episode "Aunt Bea's Pickles".
