Crewman Boylan was a crew member on the USS Voyager when the ship was lost in the Delta Quadrant.

In 2375 while the crew dealt with a Borg Vinculum, Boylan was ordered by Torres, to "lock down the primary command consoles" and "reroute transporter controls to Main Engineering". (VOY:"Infinite Regress") Later that year, when the crew was being deceived by a telepathic pitcher plant he ran down the hall with crewman White. According to Seven of Nine crewman Boylan and crewman White were often late for their duty shifts. (VOY:"Bliss")
