The Braslota system was an uninhabited planetary system in the Oneamisu sector. This system consisted of the primary Braslota and the planets Totoro, Yuri, and Kei.
In 2365, this system was selected by Starfleet Command for a strategic simulation exercise codenamed Operation Lovely Angel. This war game exercise pitted the USS Enterprise-D against the USS Hathaway. (TNG: "Peak Performance", okudagram)
"brass-LOW-tah" was the pronunciation for this system's name according to the script pronunciation guide. [1]
Most of the simulation information was an in-joke reference to the anime series Dirty Pair and anime film My Neighbor Totoro. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion (2nd ed., p. 92))
