A bridge is a structure that is built over a body of water or a large low area to allow passage over it.

The Brooklyn Bridge was built in New York City, to connect the boroughs of Brooklyn and Manhattan. (ENT: "Storm Front")

The Golden Gate Bridge was a bridge in San Francisco, California, and was built in the 1930s. It spad the Golden Gate, the border between the San Francisco Bay to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The bridge was perhaps the most iconic symbol of the city.
