The Bringloid system was a system. This system, located in the Ficus sector, was only half a light year from the planet Mariposa and less than 90 light years from the Sol system.
For two centuries, before its evacuation by the USS Enterprise-D in 2365, an Earth colony thrived on the planet Bringloid V. This changed when the primary underwent a period of transformation rendering the planet unlivable for Humans. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder"; ENT: "Two Days and Two Nights")
In "Two Days and Two Nights", the Enterprise, a NX-class starship, set a milestone twenty-eight years after the Mariposa launched, by becoming the first Earth ship to travel 90 light years from its homeworld.
