Britt was the secretary for Chris Brynner, the boss of Brynner Information Systems, in 2024.

Britt managed to reserve a room at the Clift Hotel for five nights for Jadzia Dax and was asked by his boss, Brynner, to check if any of Jadzia's friends was admitted to a hospital or trauma ward. This after Benjamin Sisko, Julian Bashir and herself were trapped in Earth's past, during what would become known as the Bell Riots.

The next day Britt would probably be present during a get-together Brynner had organized at the office. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part I")

Britt was named after James Coburn's character of the same name from the film The Magnificent Seven. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p. 197)
