Browder IV was the fourth planet of the Browder system, and was the site of a Federation terraforming-project in 2366. The USS Hood was assigned to assist the USS Enterprise-D with a terraforming project there. (TNG: "Allegiance")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on the chart "United Federation of Planets I", Browder IV was listed as a member planet of the Federation in 2378.
