A buggy was a type of automobile used for transportation on rugged terrain.

In 2379, the crew of the USS Enterprise-E were on an away mission on the surface of the planet Kolarus III. They made use of a buggy called the Argo, which was attached to the shuttlecraft of the same name. The Kolarus III natives also had buggies of their own. (Star Trek Nemesis)
