Canopus III is a planet which is in or near Federation space, in the Canopus system. (TNG:"Conspiracy")
- Canopus III was mentioned as a small note on a very large star chart graphic created for TNG:"Conspiracy." It was the image behind the chair in the room where Dexter Remmick was killed. Don't give the distances shown on the chart much credence, however, since Canopus III orbits the star named Alpha Carinae, which was depicted on the chart as lying several star systems away from its own planet!
