The Cardassian Guard, Seventh Order was Gul Jasad's service shortly after Starfleet had taken control of Deep Space Nine. (DS9: "Emissary")
It is inconclusive whether this term applied to the Cardassian military or just one branch. The Star Trek Encyclopedia has no "Cardassian Guard" entry. Subsequent references mentioned "the Cardassian military."
