Cardassian ale is an alcoholic beverage enjoyed by Cardassians.
During the Occupation of Bajor, Quark often paid off Gul Dukat with Cardassian ale. When Quark told Odo that Kira Nerys had paid him for an alibi, Odo asked what would happen if Dukat found out, to which Quark said it would likely cost him a case of Cardassian ale. Dukat then made his presence known and corrected the Ferengi, insisting it would cost at least two cases. (DS9: "Necessary Evil")
