Carmen Cecilia Carter (born 21 October 1954; age 69) is a Star Trek novelist, from San Antonio, Texas. She began writing fantasy and science fiction in 1984. Her first Star Trek novel, Dreams of the Raven was published in 1987, and since then she authored three Next Generation novels. The vast majority of her published work is in the Star Trek universe.
