Starship types?[]
Should we only list classes here, or also articles about starship types (basically, classes we don't know the name of)? -- Cid Highwind 11:08, 21 Feb 2005 (GMT)
Galaxy-X Class[]
I didn't want to edit directly in case I mess something up.
The computer game "Birth of the Federation" identifies the modified Galaxy class found in the alternate future of TNG:"All Good Things.." as Galaxy-X class. (The upgraded Enterprise-D commanded by Admiral Riker.) The game implies that Galaxy-X class starships can be constructed from scratch, rather than only arising from refits of existing Galaxy class starships.

- Video games, novels and things of that sort are not considered canon, according to our policies. However, the version of the vessel you speak of is mentioned on the USS Enterprise-D page. --Alan del Beccio 03:32, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)
Forum:Merge all type articles in unkwonshipclasses article[]
we got: "unnamed individuals", "Unnamed planets", "Unnamed Alpha and Beta Quadrant planets" and many other unnamed things [1]. why dont we do the same with "Unnamed ship classes" instead of "Centaur type", "Curry type", "Huron type" and many other? --Shisma 17:22, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
- Because we found a good way of naming these without looking too silly, but haven't found a good way of naming individual character/planet/* articles? That's not supposed to mean that every of those articles is necessary - if a ship design was used just once, we don't need to postulate a "X type" class - but if a design was used for several ships, why not have an article about this class, even if we don't know its name? -- Cid Highwind 17:37, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
