Centauri VII was the seventh planet in the Alpha Centauri system.

Centauri VII was the homeworld of the artist Taranullus. Original prints of his creation lithographs were rare antique collectibles in 2269 when seen by Spock on Omega system planet Holberg 917G. The immortal Flint's collection included original works and acquisitions from his many lives; since it contained Taranullus's work, the prints were either Flint's own work or were acquired by him. (TOS: "Requiem for Methuselah")

Background

Since there was no evidence Flint impersonated non-Humans, one can assume either Taranullus was not Flint, or Centauri VII had a Human settlement – perhaps the Alpha Centauri colony itself.

The Explored Galaxy

This chart was first seen, chronologically, in 2293. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) This chart was also seen in several Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes set in the 24th century, from the year 2364 to 2370. These were: TNG: "Conspiracy", "The Measure Of A Man", "The Emissary", "The Mind's Eye", "The Game" and DS9: "In the Hands of the Prophets", "Cardassians".

Star Trek: Star Charts

The Alpha Centauri system was located in the Alpha Centauri sector (Sector 002), in the Beta Quadrant. This system was a trinary star system. Primary was a Class G star with a magnitude of +5, which was the same brightness as Sol. Secondary star was a Class M star. Tertiary was a Class K star. In the mid-22nd century, this system was a destination on the Earth trade routes. Since the mid-22nd century, this system was in Federation space. Alpha Centauri was a founding member planet of the Federation, and, in 2378, was listed with other members. Note: This planet might be Centauri VII, or Proxima colony, or another world in the system.
