Charles Macaulay was an American actor. Born in Kentucky in 1927, he worked from the early sixties to the early nineties, including several appearances as Perry Mason's hapless opponent, District Attorney Hamilton Burger, towards the end of his career. His aristocratic bearing and sonorous voice often led him to be cast as judges, doctors, attorneys, and other authority figures. He died of cancer in 1999.
