Charley Lang (born 24 December 1955 in Passaic, New Jersey) is the actor who played Lieutenant Duffy in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Hollow Pursuits".

Following his appearance on TNG, Lang went on to have recurring roles in two other science fiction television series: Dark Skies and Seven Days. In the former, he played the role of Dr. Charlie Halligan and worked alongside fellow Star Trek performers Mary Kay Adams, Vaughn Armstrong, Roger Aaron Brown, Robin Gammell, Tim Kelleher (a regular on the series), Deborah May, Matt Roe, Leon Russom, Raphael Sbarge, Don Stark, Eric Steinberg, Maury Sterling, and Star Trek: Voyager's Jeri Ryan (whom Lang had previously worked with in a 1991 episode of Reasonable Doubts, starring Jim Beaver). In the latter series, he and Voyager guest actor Jerome Butler played two MIB agents opposite the likes of Michael Forest, Thomas Kopache, Norman Lloyd (a series regular), Jordan Lund, Christopher Neame, Alan Scarfe (another regular), Michael Bailey Smith, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Bruce Wright.

Lang's other genre credits include appearances on Alien Nation (along with Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, Michele Scarabelli, Gwynyth Walsh, and Tracey Walter) and Sliders (with Marnie McPhail and Armin Shimerman). He has also made appearances on L.A. Law (working alongside Corbin Bernsen and Larry Drake), Murphy Brown, Tour of Duty (with Dan Gauthier, Patrick Kilpatrick, and Alan Scarfe), The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (with Diedrich Bader), Matlock (with Jason Wingreen), Murder, She Wrote (with Paul Carr and William Windom), ER, Pacific Blue (opposite David L. Lander), Party of Five (with Cecily Adams), The West Wing (with David Graf and Kenneth Tigar), Ally McBeal (with Albert Hall), and NYPD Blue (opposite Gordon Clapp).

Lang made his film debut in 1988's Bird, in which Hamilton Camp, Bill Cobbs, Tony Todd, and Voyager star Tim Russ also appeared. The following year, he appeared in the Perry Mason TV movie The Case of the Lethal Lesson with Brian Keith and Mark Rolston. In 1992, he appeared opposite Virginia Madsen, Chris Sarandon, Lenore Kasdorf, Bruce Gray, and Voyager's Robert Picardo in TV's A Murderous Affair: The Carolyn Warmus Story, and the next year, he appeared in the sci-fi film Fire in the Sky with Scott MacDonald, Noble Willingham, and Bruce Wright. He was also in the comedy California Myth (released in 1999), which was Bibi Besch's last film before her death in 1996. Wren T. Brown, Don Stark, and Warren Munson also appeared in this film.
