Zobral

...as Zobral (2002).

Clancy Brown (born January 5, 1959 in Urbana, Ohio) is the actor who played Zobral in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode "Desert Crossing."

He made his film debut in 1983's Bad Boys, which also starred Star Trek Generations actor Alan Ruck. Clancy's claim to fame, however, came in 1984, when he played the character of "Rawhide" in the 1984 cult classic The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai in the 8th Dimension. Co-starring with him in this film were fellow Star Trek alumnus Peter Weller (in the title role), Christopher Lloyd, Robert Ito, Vincent Schiavelli, and Jonathan Banks. Brown went playing Connor MacLeod's nemesis, "The Kurgan", in the popular 1986 science fiction film Highlander, for which he is also famous.

His many other film credits include The Shawshank Redemption (1994, co-starring Bob Gunton, William Sadler, Mark Rolston, Jude Ciccolella, and Bill Bolender), Flubber (1997, with Christopher McDonald and Wil Wheaton), and the 1997 sci-fi actioner Starship Troopers (co-starring Dina Meyer, Lenore Kasdorf, and Bruce Gray). He also played "John Danziger" in the short-lived cult sci-fi series Earth 2, on which Terry O'Quinn was a frequent guest performer, and played "Brother Justin Crowe" in the HBO series Carnivàle, co-starring Adrienne Barbeau, John Fleck, and John Savage.

He is also recognized for his voiceover roles in a number of animated television series. He was among the many Star Trek actors to do voicework on the animated series Gargoyles. Others who had voice roles on this show include Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks, Paul Winfield, David Warner, and LeVar Burton. Most notably, however, Brown was the voice of "Lex Luthor" on the Superman and Justic League shows and "Mr. Krabs" on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob SquarePants. He currently continues to voice both characters.
