Bryan made her episodic television debut in a 1991 episode of Gabriel's Fire, starring fellow Star Trek actress Madge Sinclair. Bryant's episode also guest-starred Gregory Itzin and David Opatoshu, with the latter playing her character's grandfather. (Phillip Glasser, who played young Ru'afo in Star Trek: Insurrection but whose scenes were ultimately deleted, played her brother.) She went on to have roles in a number of made-for-TV movies, including 1994's Once in a Lifetime (co-starring Fran Bennett and Duncan Regehr), 1997's Under Wraps (with Ed Lauter), and 2002's Due East (with Erich Anderson).
