Clay Hodges (born 9 October 1941; age 82) is a former actor who appeared in several different roles in three Star Trek productions.

He first appeared as the Acamarian bodyguard in the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "The Vengeance Factor". He then portrayed the second Klingon officer in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and an illusory workman in the TNG seventh season episode "Phantasms" and ten years later a Benkaran prisoner in the Star Trek: Voyager seventh season episode "Repentance". As a background performer he received no credit for this appearances. His costume from his fourth appearance was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Hodges filmed his scenes as a Klingon with fellow actor David Orange on Tuesday 9 April 1991 on Paramount Stage 15.

Hodges was a professional boxer before he turned into acting and fought among opponents such as Larry Quarry, Jimmy Young, and George Foreman and participated at the Golden Gloves heavyweight championship in the 1960s. [2] [3]

Hodges soon started to work as an extra in film and television productions including the television drama Ring of Passion (1978, with Bernie Casey, Stephen Macht, Percy Rodriguez, Clement von Franckenstein, and Warren Munson), the comedy Movie Movie (1978, with George P. Wilbur, Robert Herron, Jimmy Nickerson, Tom Morga, and Chuck Hicks), the action film Every Which Way But Loose (1978, with William O'Connell, Chuck Hicks, George P. Wilbur, Gene LeBell, Judson Scott, and Debra Dilley), the thriller The China Syndrome (1979, with Richard Herd and Donald Hotton), and the television drama Goldie and the Boxer (1979, with Madlyn Rhue, Dick Durock, Gene LeBell, and Ben Scott).

He also appeared in the adventure The Last Flight of Noah's Ark (1980, with Geneviève Bujold and Glenn R. Wilder), the television sport drama Dempsey (1983, with Sally Kellerman, Peter Mark Richman, John McLiam, Mark L. Taylor, Jimmy Nickerson, Walker Edmiston, Estee Chandler, and Don Charles McGovern), the sport drama Rocky V (1990, with Meade Martin, Brian Phelps, Mark Thompson, and Patrick Cronin), the comedy Spy Hard (1996, with Michael Berryman, Keith Campbell, Carl Ciarfalio, Paul Eliopoulos, Andrew English, Bruce Gray, Kevin Grover, John Kassir, Diane and Elaine Klimaszewski, Clyde Kusatsu, Katherine Moffat, Peewee Piemonte, Jeff Sanders, Mickey Cassidy, Bruce Dobos, Michael Bailous, Henry Kingi, Jr., and Kevin Michael Richardson), and in episodes of The Wild Wild West (1968, with Johnny Haymer and Jimmie Booth), Voyagers! (1982), Fantasy Island, Amazing Stories (1986, with Nancy Parsons, Sid Haig, and Eve Smith), Mike Hammer (1987, with William Frankfather), Falcon Crest (1987, with Robert Foxworth, Brett Cullen, Dana Sparks, Jonathan Banks, Christopher Held, Jeff Austin, Carl Ciarfalio, and Buck McDancer), Dynasty (1984 and 1987, with Joan Collins, Jeff O'Haco, Ian Abercrombie, and Bruce Gray), and Resurrection Blvd. (2000, with Tony Plana and Ray Wise).

Hodges appeared as a prison guard in the 1994 music video of the Snoop Doogg song "Murder Was the Case". [4]
