When reading Seven of Nine's logs to discover why she left USS Voyager abruptly in 2374, Captain Janeway came across a passage: "The feathers are black... wingspan approximately one and a half meters... the eyes are yellow...", and believed she was describing a member of the Corvidae family, like a raven or a crow.
