The Cuellar system was a star system. This Cardassian system was located in Sector 21505. The system had a good strategic position to be used for an invasion of three Federation sectors alongside the Cardassian border. This system was located in the region between Sectors 21166 and 22079.
A Cardassian space station was located in the system until it was incinerated by the USS Phoenix in 2367. The Cardassians claimed it to be a science station, but Captain Benjamin Maxwell of the Phoenix claimed, that there was nothing of scientific interest in the system and considered it a military transport station. According to the script, the pronunciation for Cuellar was "KWAY-yar". [1]
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 47, the primary of Cuellar was Class F star. Magnitude of this star was +1, which was 100 times brighter than Sol. This system was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
