Curie was a Type-6 shuttlecraft, shuttle number 03 assigned to the Enterprise-D.
The shuttle was presumably destroyed by Cardassians on an intelligence mission in 2370, althuogh no evidence of its fate could be found. (TNG:"Lower Decks")
Named after scientist Marie Curie, the discoverer of radiation.
