Curt Schulkey is a sound editor who has worked as an ADR editor, sound effects editor, dialogue editor, and recording mixer. For Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, he worked as a sound effects editor.

He began his career a few years earlier and worked on three titles for George Lucas around the same time, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

Other films he has worked on include Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987, with James Cromwell, Carol A. O'Connell, John Cade, Sharon Schaffer, Raymond Forchion, Gary Epper, Tom Hodges, Ed Lauter, Charles Correll, Ed Lauter, Scott Wilder, Frank Smathers, Glenn R. Wilder, and Bernie Casey), Matinee (1993, starring David Clennon, Dick Miller and Robert Picardo, working with Warren Hamilton, Jr., Ellen Heuer, Mark A. Mangini, John Pospisil, Rick Mitchell, and David A. Whittaker, and featuring music by Jerry Goldsmith), The Flintstones, Elizabethtown, The Fifth Element, Blade: Trinity, and the 2002 Planet of the Apes, for which he received a Golden Reel Award nominations from the Motion Picture Sound Editors, USA for 2002 Best Sound Editing – Effects & Foley, Domestic Feature Film, which he shared with David A. Whittaker and Dan Yale.
