A dagger is a small hand-held blade weapon.

Every Tamarian encountered by the crew of the USS Enterprise-D in 2368 owned a dagger, including their captain Dathon. After the death of the Tamarian captain the Tamarian officers performed a mourning ritual using their daggers. (TNG: "Darmok")

In 2369 Vash secured a bronze and gold dagger, about twenty five centimeters, in a storage locker of the assay office aboard Deep Space 9. (DS9: "Q-Less")

Gul Madred owned a dagger with a jevonite handle. (TNG: "Chain of Command, Part II")
