Dan Butler is an actor best known for his role as Robert "Bulldog" Briscoe in Frasier. Initially he was a recurring guest actor, but in 1996 he became a member of the main cast. His character was written out of the show in 1999, but returned to guest star in five episodes of the series' last three seasons.
He starred in the 1993 movie Dave with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest actor Frank Langella and Laura Linney, who played Frasier Crane's girlfriend in Frasier's final season.
Butler played Steth in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Vis à Vis."
