Daniel Davis played the role of the holographic Professor James Moriarty in (TNG: "Elementary, Dear Data" and "Ship in a Bottle").
Davis had recurring roles in Dynasty and The Practice, however he is most known for playing Niles, the butler, on the television series The Nanny. He has also had a successful stage career, having been nominated for a Tony Award in 2000 for his performance in Wrong Mountain. As of this writing, he can be seen as Georges in the Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles.
