A Dark matter life form
A dark matter life form is a life form made of dark matter. The physics of the Federation seem to justify that dark matter life cannot exist, as molecules that complex would collapse under their own weight.
However, Starfleet encountered a dark matter life form for the first time in 2376, while the Delta Flyer was searching for dilithium near a gas giant in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Good Shepherd")
