While onboard the [[Enterprise-D]] on a mission to track down the [[USS Phoenix]], he tried to start a conversation with [[Chief]] [[O'Brien]] about the [[transporter]], but was bluntly refused. Later, when he had a glass of [[Kanar]] in [[Ten Forward]], O'Brien apologized to him. Glinn Daro' was a Cardassian aide to Gul Macet. In 2367, he accompanied Macet aboard the USS Enterprise-D as part of the observation team in the pursuit of USS Phoenix. Whilst onboard, Maro attempted to speak to Miles O'Brien, concerning the Enterprises transporter system, but was refused. Later, he shared a drink with O'Brien in Ten-Forward, where O'Brien spoke of his experience at the Setlik III massacre, something Daro described as "a terrible mistake". (TNG: "The Wounded")
