... as a civilian in "These Are the Voyages..."

David Frank Rossi (born 17 January 1965; age 59) was a producer within the Star Trek franchise. He worked heavily on Star Trek: The Next Generation for most of the series' run. After that show completed its run, he became the Supervisor of Star Trek Projects, where he worked on attractions, product licensing, and helped oversee Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. After that, he acted as an associate producer on Star Trek: Enterprise.

More recently, he has been working with Denise and Michael Okuda on the remastering for Star Trek: The Original Series, as well as a concept for a new animated Trek series.

A few things that made it into the show were named for him:

He also made an appearance as a civilian attending the Federation Founding Ceremony in the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, "These Are the Voyages...", accompanied by his fiancée Lili Malkin who sat next to him.

In an interview with Star Trek Monthly #127, Dave Rossi listed his favorite Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes:

  1. "Captive Pursuit"
  2. "Duet"
  3. "The Wire"
  4. "The Visitor"
  5. "Rejoined"
  6. "Our Man Bashir"
  7. "Hard Time"
  8. "Trials and Tribble-ations"
  9. "Statistical Probabilities"
  10. "In the Pale Moonlight"
