Template:Realworld David Krieger is a software developer, scientist, and security consultant who worked as scientific technical advisor on the third and fourth season of Star Trek: The Next Generation between 1989 and 1991. The Krieger wave in the episode "A Matter of Perspective" were named after him. During his time on Star Trek he was a graduate student at UCLA. [1]

He has been working in the Internet industry since 1992 and developing for the web since 1995 for clients such as Apple Computer, Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, Palm Computing, Dow Jones, and Synopsys. Krieger is the co-founder of the software development consultant company Agorics, Inc., founded in 1993. In 2002 he wrote the book "Running Weblogs with Slash". [2]

In 2010, Krieger was interviewed in the documentary The University of Nuclear Bombs.
