David Soul (born 28 August 1943; age 80) played Makora in TOS: "The Apple". After his appearance on Star Trek, he starred as the middle Bolt brother, Joshua, in the TV series Here Come the Brides along with other TOS guest stars Robert Brown and Mark Lenard. He is perhaps best known, however, for playing Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series Starsky and Hutch, and appeared in the 2004 film version starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson years later. He also recorded a #1 single called Don't Give Up On Us. He was formerly married to Julia Nickson who guest-starred in both TNG and DS9.
